#15 surgical blade

The #15 blade is used for precise fine and delicate dissection of various tissues. The decreased size of it's cutting surface or "belly" limits it's ability to maintain a sharp edge. For this reason, it is often changed frequently to insure optimal incising and transection of tissue.
