#20 surgical blade

The #20 blade is used in both gynecological and trauma surgery as a first incision or skin knife. It's large size coupled with the increased length of it's cutting surface or "belly" enables quick yet precise opening incisions. The larger "belly" also provides greater cutting surface area allowing the blade to hold it's edge or sharpness longer.
